Browse All TopicsWe have two Windows 2008 x86 Terminal server and a user with an HP Photosmart D7460 printer, who is experiencing abnormally long print times. Print Jobs are taking about 30 seconds to spool on the terminal server, another 30 seconds during which the job says it is printing, and about 45 seconds between the time the job disappears from the queue on the terminal server and the time the job appears in the queue locally. We have tested and replicated this issue on both servers, and with various print jobs - a notepad printjob is about 10 seconds faster to spool than a windows test page. We have also tested different printers, including PDFCreator, which was nearly instantaneous. We have also tested with another user that uses an HP Laserjet 1160, and they don't have this problem. Is this a known issue with this model of printer? Are there settings we can tweak to optimize the print speed, or is there a different driver we can force it to use?
Thanks,
Matt

If your HP printer is not on this list it means it is not supported under Terminal Services (the list is for Citrix but the same applies for TS).
