Hi
I'm running Sage Accounts 2009 (and trialling 2010) on Server 2008 under the Remote App system for terminal serrvices. In general everything works fine, but I'm getting a crash in one specific instance on the application (with both Sage Accounts 2009 and 2010).
What happens is, when in Sage a user clicks on Customer Write-Off/Refund, the application hangs and will not respond to anything. Clicking anywhere only yields an annoying beep. HOWEVER, if the user then uses task manager to kill the program (remote app, not Sage, as Sage is running on the server) the program closes and an error is displayed saying "Remote Desktop Connection experienced a problem and needs to close". Rerunning the Remote App program will go straight back into the existing session, but Sage will be on the correct screen, as if it's actually worked at the server end, but Remote Desktop has crashed out.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this? It seems to me like a conflict between something Sage is doing and something RDC is doing, but it's RDC that is bombing out... It happens on both Sage 2009 and 2010, so it's not something that's version specific. It also doesn't happen if the Sage Software is run directly on the server, so it's definitely something specific with Remote App.
Thanks!
Sam
