How do use the Mac Printer that comes with Leopard with a Citrix client?

Asked by jimstjohn in Citrix, Remote Desktop/Terminal Services, Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard)

I have a friend who just updated his Mac to the Leopard OS.

Formerly (under his older Mac OS; my friend's not sure of the old version number) , when he used his Citrix (thin client) application, he had a client printer named "Mac Printer" inside his Citrix session - when he printed to that printer, he could generate a PDF of whatever was being printed.

We just tried the same thing under Leopard -- the "Max Printer" shows in the Citrix session, but when he prints to it the client hangs.  Additionally, for whatever the reason, on the Windows (Citrix) side, the printer driver for the Max Printer indicates "HP LaserJet II".

I'm not that great with Macs, but I'd like to try to help out a friend.  Any clues as to what I can try in order to resolve this?

Thanks,
-- Jim
