we need to allow a couple of users to have remote access to their workstations from remote locations around the world. We were initially going to setup remote desktop, but were advised that this was not too secure, and were recommended to go down the VPN route.
I thought I would have a go at setting up the vpn as outlined in a Microsoft document. However, I cannot seem to even get started on this, as the first thing it tells you to do is to configure and enable routing and remote access. This brings an error up that says that the Microsoft Firewall and Internet Sharing service is running and that we should stop and dissable this. When we do this, no one can access the internet. Is this a temporary thing while vpn is configured, or do we have to modify the Internet connection method also.
Any help you can give would be appreciated.
