SBS 2003 SQL MSDE services won't start

Hello,

I have a 2003 SBS SP1 server and the MSDE instances won't start. Here's a list of the services that won't start.

MSSQL$BKUPEXEC
MSSQL$SBSMONITORING
MSSQL$SHAREPOINT

SQLAgent$BKUPEXEC
SQLAgent$SBSMONITORING
SQLAgent$SHAREPOINT

When I try to start one of these, such as MSSQL$BKUPEXEC, I get the following: "The MSSQL$BKUPEXEC service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the performance logs and alerts service."

They are all set to log on as Local System.

When I try to start it using the icon in the notification area for SQL Server Service Manager it just stays in a stopped state with no error message. The most urgent thing here is that Backup Exec needs these to run so the daily backups haven't been running.

I'm also getting this error in the application log every five seconds.
