With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Title: Windows Small Business Server 2003 events 1030 and 1058 every 5 minutes and gpt.ini not found in sysvol directory

I recently had my server crash and had to clone the boot drive with Ghost.  Although the root of the problem may have eminated from a faulty tape drive which also has recently been warrantied and replaced.  It appears I've been getting this event howvever since August of 2005 and can't recall exactly what might have triggered it but we did upgrade to the SP 1 around that time.  It might have damaged the gpt.ini file but it isn't found and is there a way to recreate the missing data?
