The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? Bogus Low Disk Space Alerts

I keep getting emailed this alert from the server (SBS 2003 fully service packed)

The following disk is low on free disk space. Low levels of free disk space can cause performance problems and prevent users from saving files on the disk.

Drive Letter: HarddiskVolume4
Free Disk Space: 0.000000. MB
% Free Disk Space: 0.000000.%
 
I have read other posts on this board where this problem has been identified as incorrect removal of a USB drive, but I don't  thhink this is the case here.  There is no USB drive used with this server.  It happened after I fitted a new internal disk drive to the server.  The disk works fine, and is about 240gb capacity with 170gb free disk space.

Any idea how I can verify that this drive is HardDiskVolume4?  In disk management, it is the fourth partition (3 partitions on physical disk 0, 1 partition on physical disk 1 *which is the new drive))

I have turned off the low disk space alerts to stop this alert being sent to me 3 or 4 times a day, but I want the alerts to work properly!!
