Hello everyone. I have installed SBS2003 many times before on other systems and I have never had a problem making it work. But now I do! Here is whats going on. The server has 1 NIC internal IP of 172.168.16.2 When I open IIS it looks like this:
Default Web Site; I have this configured for 172.168.16.2 with no header and my DNS records are created for this and all works fine, internally and externally. Running on ports 80 and also 443. The next one is,
Microsoft Sharepoint Administration; IP is all unassigned, (which should be ok because it will point to the server by default). This is using port 3749 and no secure port. This works ok.
Sharepoint Central Administration; (BROKE), IP Address is all unassigned, (which should be ok because it will point to the server by default). This is using port 8081 and again, no secure port. PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED!
Companyweb; (BROKE), IP Address is 172.168.16.2 with a header of companyweb, DNS records are created for companyweb pointing to 172.168.16.2. This is using ports 80 and secure port 444.
Please help quickly this is a customers server. Thank You in advance.
Aditional Information; I am trying to browse in IIS Manager when I get the Page cannot be displayed. My Network settings are set static with DNS Server pointing to itself 172.168.16.2
