Problems with Group Policy Objects (EventID's: LSASRV 40961 & USERENV 1030)

We have a SBS 2003 domain controller, with two additional Windows 2003 R2 domain controllers all running the same domain. When I installed the additional R2 servers I have to update the Active Directory schema on the SBS server in order for them to replicate correctly.

On a few of the clients I administer I have noticed the following eventID's

Event Type:      Warning
Event Source:      LSASRV
Event Category:      SPNEGO (Negotiator)
Event ID:        40961
Date:            18/10/2006
Time:            15:15:15
User:            N/A
Computer:      WORKSTATION
Description:
The Security System could not establish a secured connection with the server ldap/OURSERVER.OURDOMAIN.local/OURDMAIN.local@OURDOMAIN.local. No authentication protocol was available.

Event Type:      Error
Event Source:      Userenv
Event Category:      None
Event ID:        1030
Date:            18/10/2006
Time:            15:15:15
User:            OURDOMAIN\Username
Computer:      WORKSTATION
Description:
Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects. A message that describes the reason for this was previously logged by the policy engine.

If I try and run GPUPDATE these events are logged again.

I have followed this MS article but still have the issue:

Also if I try and run RSoP i get the following errors:

Error 62 The corresponding string was not found in the [strings] section
Found: !!WindowsComponents
The file can not be loaded

This error points to the Default Domain Policy and the 'inetres.adm' file.

Once I have OK'd the above error message I then get a red cross over the USER CONFIGURATION and this error message:

Group Policy Infrastructure failed due to the error listed below.
Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.
Note: Due to the GP Core failure, none of the other Group Policy components processed their policy. Consequently, status information for the other components is not available.
