HOW TO REPAIR SBS 2003?

Hi all,
I have a doman controller running SBS 2003 SP1 on raid 5 with exchange hosted. It wouldn't boot after a reboot due to app. maintenance. There was the "boot.ini" file issue which was taken care of. After that was taken care of, there was another error message with "can't load hive file" and that was take care of by copying the bkp hive file from the repair folder in the recovery console. After that I was able to boot but system stops responding after displaying the splash screen of sbs 2003. There is only a gray screen with no logon window. I've tried almost every option under F8 from safe mode to last good config. but none worked. I finally decided to repair the OS by running the repair option from the CD and i'm getting the following error message "lsass.exe-System Error: Security Accounts Manager initialization failed because of the following error: Directory Service cannot start. Error Status: 0xc00002e1. Please click OK to shutdown this system and reboot into Directory Services Restore Mode, check the event log for more detailed information" and if i reboot it, it'll start backup at "setup is restarting" then with the same error message. Is there any way to start the service from the recovery console then have it reboot and continue the repair
any help would be greatly appreciated... thanks

there are no backups done on this server (which i regret not doing from the moment i started the job on monday)Start Free Trial
