Architecture for 2 offices advice needed

Asked by jennynover in SBS Small Business Server

Tags: sbs, server

2 sites:
1. Main office that needs most of the features of SBS
2. Fairly self contained remote office that needs local file sharing and email
Both sites share company domain email addresses which they currently POP.

What are the best options for configuration:
* 2 SBS domains with a trust relationship - both continuing to POP email from ISP (or could one collect it's mail from the other??)
* 1 SBS server and the Main office, and one standard BDC at office 2. with Exchange as a Backend Server there
* SBS server at the main office, standard server as a BDC at office 2, office 2 users connect to office 1 with OWA for email.
* don't go with SBS at all and use standard server...etc etc - please suggest.  Thanks.Start Free Trial
