To work around this problem, perform the following steps. After each setep, try again to access the page.
*Ensure that the MSSQL$SBSMONITORING service is started
*Ensure that the server is not low on memory or disk space.
*Restart the server
*Verify that the server is functional and that there are no system-wide problems.
*Run the Set Up Monitoring Reports an dAlerts task in the Server Management Monitoring and Reporting taskpad.
MSSQL$SBSMONITORING is running
plenty of hard disk and memory
server restarted plenty of times
there are other errors, but I'll get to that.
When I run the Set Up with the Monitoring Configuration Wizard, it fails, reporting:
An error occurred while running the wizard.
x Configuring Data Store
x Configuring Data Collection
x Configuraing Alert Threshjolds
x Configuring Reports
It fals on every count.
When I try to browse the Monitoring Website from IIS within the Default Website tree, it begins to generate the report by asking me to Create Your Server Usage Report. It fails when I click CREATE REPORT.

I've looked pretty extensively and can't seem to find any solution. One thing that has been mentioned is reinstalling, and using extracted disks, but I'm not clear which disks people are talking about.
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
