I am running Small Business Server 2003 with Exchage 2003. When I view the users email address in active directory it list several SMTP addresses:
jon.doe@mydomain.local
jon.doe@mydomain.com
jon@mydomain.com *
I would like to make the last address (the one with asterisk) in the list the primary email address. I have tried several times to set it as the default; it seems that the default recipient policy returns "jon.doe@mydomain.com" as the default. I would prefer to continue using the default recipeint policy if possible. I am aware that I can disable the automatically update email addresses based on recipient policy by deselecting it in the account properties. Any suggestions?
