I have 3 HP Proliant dl380 g5 servers shiny and new just out of the box for a client. They have become an SBS box, a Terminal server and a Pervasive SQL server.
SBS 2003 Standard R2 was installed and configured without a problem ....except the machine will not shutdown. If I click shutdown and give a planned reason it goes through the motions but restarts and eventually boots back up into windows.
I'm fairly sure the other 2 machines were shutting down fine until I joined them to the domain but now they're doing the same thing. This makes me lean towards a windows issue but its not impossible that its some setting on the HP hardware.
