Can't connect XP Pro Client to SBS 2003 CompanyWeb

Trying to connect an XP Pro Client laptop to a SBS 2003 R2 and am unable to connect to the companyweb site.  I have made the connect to the domain and the client does connect to the server.  I suspected that I had bad installation caused by a firewall or something.  I've removed and reinstalled the client side connection and the client computer on the server several times now.

1) Perhaps there is a better or more complete way to remove the client connection bits and pieces from both machines?  Any suggestion on how best to remove from the XP Pro client and/or server?

I can access the server and internet from the client without problem.  Just can't access companyweb.  I have other Vista and XP Pro machines on the network that work fine so it has to be unique to this laptop and the server connections for it.  I'm picking up IP from the router--not the server.  Have one nic on the server.  Laptop is on the same domain--I've removed it from the domain by changing to workgroup and then back to domain several times--no luck there.  Please let me know if you need more information or have any suggestions....
