Information on Monitoring User's web site visits
I'm trying to see where each user visits in Internet Explorer after logging in to my 2003 domain. Just pretty much some basic monitoring for my users. I dont think there is anything built into Windows to allow such a thing as the history files (index.dat) are located in the user profiles. All I really want is to just find out what time they logged in,what sites viewed and log off time. If there is nothing then how do I view a user index.dat file with out them logging on there computer.?
Thanks for your time

The only way to monitor this properly is to use a proxy server. These vary enormously in terms of price and functionality raning from acFreeProxy http://sourceforge.net/projects/acfreeproxy/ to ISA server http://www.microsoft.com/isaserver/default.mspx
or to use a program that do this job for you like Golden Eye this is very powerful but should be installed on individual computers to be able to monitor them

Ok I thing buying any software is out of the question. So I did a search on index.dat files and I think this will work for what i want but I have this workstation w/ 3 user profiles 1 mine as admin. How can I view the other 2 user index.dat files with out logging them in (ie looking at there index.dat files with me logged in as admin?) Thanks for your time

What Anti-virus software are you using? Because TrendMicro Client/Server/Messaging Suite includes a content filter which will provide such reports.
