Hi there.
I am not overly experienced with SBS server domains, although I have worked with DNS in a normal server 2003 environment.
My question is however, I need to install a backup DNS server on a member server of the SBS 2003 domain.
I know that SBS2003 cannot have a secondary DC, so I was wondering how I would go by installing a secondary DNS for backup purposes in this scenario?
The DNS will have to be set up on a server 2003 R2 which is not a DC.
How will this impact my currently installed DNS?
Will I have to manually transfer the zone data or can data be replicated normally?
Can the zone be named the same as the primary zone on the SBS DC server?
