SBS 2003 VPN wont verify users passwords

Hi,

I have SBS 2003 running and i am trying to set up the VPN connection by downloading the connection manager to a remote computer. I have ensured the firewall port is open on the SBS box, and also set up port forwarding from the modem to the SBS box both on ports 1723.
When I attempt to connect on the remote machine it look like it is working, and then it just says verifying users password, and count to about 40 seconds and then starts again displaying error message 721
