Users Slow Logging In On SBS2003

Hi,
I am having issues with a SBS Server, users are experiencing unusual delays in logging onto the server.
Now i know that the usual problem is related with the DNS, but i have double checked all IP Addresses etc.  and cant find anything, is there something im missing?

Thanks

Check the size of there profile's users have a horrible habit of saving huge ammounts of data to there desktop or mydocuments folder that may need to be replicated every time.
Also where the computers added via the \\companyweb\connectcomputer meathod as this is important.

is it happening to all users/computers?
Do you have any new/changed network drive mappings run by logon script. I have seen this occur at times and disconnecting all network drives then getting them to logon again can cure the problem.
Do you have any events logged when they connect?

I know you said you checked DNS, but WHAT did you check it for?  You may well know what you're doing... but how do WE know that - you did describe yourself as a beginner.  It would be best to post the IPCONFIG /ALL results from the server and one from a problem workstation.  And of course, check your event logs on both the workstation and the server.
This server, along with many that i look after, is located out of town on a remote community, and their sattelite internet connection, currenty is down.  therfore i can't remotley log in and test this.

But from memory the Gateway is set to 192.168.0.200 (Server)
DNS PRI: 192.168.0.200
DNS SEC (Bigpond DNS1)
DNS 3RD (Bigpond DNS2)

That is a workstation setup

And there may well be other problems, but that's DEFINITELY one potential cause.
Okay, i will change this when i next get access, like i have said when posting the initial question, i dont have much experience with servers, and have been thrown into this role with no official training.  I was told that this was correct, but obiously the person whom told me this was wrong, and now i have to work out what is correct and what is incorrect so i can iron out the bugs with most of my servers, thanks for your help i will get you the rest of the info soon
Two links I can suggest you review:

www.lwcomputing.com/tips/static/sbs.asp
www.lwcomputing.com/tips/static/dns.asp

One is for SBS - many of the links on that site were originally provided by EE's SBS guru TechSoEasy and the second is for DNS, with several links by myself and oBdA.
Why the "B" Grade?
Because it worked to an extent still had a few issues which were later resolved.  Why are you concerned on the grade? You still got the points
Why wouldn't you give me the opportunity to get an A grade?  And I didn't get ALL the points - only 1500... instead of the 2000 I could have... I generally don't feel it's fair to give someone a grade lower than an A when you haven't continued to provide feedback and allowed us to further assist you.
I am sorry you feel this way, the aboriginal remote community that i was at when i found that there were further issues did not have a working internet connecton due to weather conditions... therefore it was impossible for me to access this site to further troubleshoot
I'm just saying that on this site, points are payment and a way of thanking those of us who spend our free time here trying to help you.  None of us here answering your questions gets any direct monetary compensation.  I fully accept and understand grades lower than an A when comments do not fully and directly resolve your issue AND you've given us the opportunity to resolve it.  All I'm asking you to do is be fair - and not just with me - I have on occasion objected to point distributions for others in similar circumstances.
