.Net Framework has encountered a problem and needs to close. error

I am trying to figure a way to get the .Net Framework 3.0 upgrade installed.  It is a upgrade that was automatically downloaded through MS updates. I believe that this is also causing some issue with my quickbooks 2008  program not loading, at least that what I could tell from online discussions.Start Free Trial
