Setting up Small Business Server 2003
Here is the scenario:
I have a SMS 2003 and it is already configured, but I cannot join the domain and I think it's because the configuration is wrong. I tried to join the domain with a client machine running winxp pro but it doesn't work. I cant even ping to the server, but from server I can ping the workstation.
I cannot setup DHCP because I have a router and that one has DHCP running. Therefore, everytime that I tried to setup DHCP, my server will say that my dhcp service is not started but I keep on starting but it keeps shutting down. Disabling my dhcp on my router might fix the problem but I dont know.
My dns on the DNS tab is not configured nor Routing is not configured ... almost nothing is configured. I thought that it was already configured but apparently i have to make a lot of changes.
My question is: can you guys help me setup this server, maybe a small guide will help me.
Thank you.
