IIS - Can I Assign 2 websites same port.

Asked by zingab in SBS Small Business Server, Microsoft IIS Web Server, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) & HTTPS

I have SBS2k3 - I have a sharepoint site that is on port 80, also my default website which is tcp port 80 (but SSLport 443) and has the exchange web underneath it.

Currently the sharepoint site works when i stop the default website, and vice versa. In order to resolve this, will I need to have them listen on different IP's?...since this involves the default website do I need to do anything different than i normally would..host headers etc..?Start Free Trial
