I have a client running an SBS2003 server who has one user that is having all outgoing email bounce with this error:
There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server. Please contact your system administrator.
<notrealdomain.com #5.5.0 smtp;553 From: address not verified; see
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/manage/sendfrom-07.html>
I've been to the linked website. Some months ago when EVERYONE's email was bouncing. I verified all the email per the instructions and everything was fine. Now one user is suddenly bouncing again. I've tried to login into yahoo mail, delete the broken email address and recreate it. As it was used before it doesn't offer to validate. It just claims that it should be working. I can't get sbcglobal to help. Tech support doesn't understand me when I tell them I'm relaying via exchange. How can I fix this?
This is setup as smart host relay to smtp.mail.yahoo.com
