I am trying to install .NET 2.0, so I can then install SQL express 2005, then install Blackberry Enterprise Server.
I have uninstalled .NET version 1.1 from the server. I receive and error during the .NET 2.0 installation; the iisadmin service could not be stopped. I can press retry when prompted but with the same results. If I press cancel the install roles back, generate a MS report to send to microsoft, and that is all. Below is the information from the Event Viewer:
Event ID: 11921
Product: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 -- Error 1921.Service 'IIS Admin Service' (iisadmin) could not be stopped. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to stop system services.
I am logged in remotely through VPN on the administrator account, but had someone locally try with the same results.
