SBS2003 and mobile email problem

Hi

i have an sbs2003 std server with sp2.  i have installed a secure cert and have verfified that it is installed correctly.

i am attempting to connect my nokia e65 to the exchange server using the nokia mail for exchange (NOTE:  i also have a windows mobile device and this does not work either so it is not a nokia issue!!)

i have set these phones up on numerous occasions for other customers in the past.  the only difference is i took over the maintenance of this server from another company - i did not set it up day 1!

with this server, the phone connects and authenticated successfully on the server but after a few seconds it comes up with a message "error is exchange server - please try again later"

has anyone ideas?  this is driving me crazy!
