I have setup a Microsoft faxing service with 4 modems to one computer.
I set up one modem to both receive and send and the other 3 modems are only for receive.
the send and receive work well, but I have a problem for distribution.
the 4 modems are bound to 4 telephone number xxxxxx1,xxxxxx2,xxxxxx3,xx
xxxx4.
I set up the 4 receiving fax for above 4 number to 4 email address (e1@.xxx.xx,e2,e3,e4)
the problem is : no mind which number I send to , the fax is always received by the xxxxxx1 and sent to mailbox e1@xxx.xx.
My Server is Windows Server 2003
how can I correct this problem so that the fax to xxxxx2 will send to e2@ .xxxxxx3 will sent to e3@...
the other question is : can I set the xxxxxx2 as the second receiving modem. that means
if the fax to xxxxxx1,xxxxxx3,xxxxxx4 cannot reached due to hardware problem , the fax will received by xxxxxx2. since the modem xxxxx2 has external connect to a fax machine. so that if xxxxxx2 broken , I can get a printed document on the external fax machine.
