Access to shares

Asked by olafdc in SBS Small Business Server, File Servers

I have a multi homed system consisting of 1 x sbs 2003 r2 and 2 x remote server2003 r2 connected over a VPN hardware tunnel.
System has been running faultless for a few months. Problem I am having is that new computer accounts can not access any shares including sysvol. All existing computer accounts have all the correct acces including DFS.
Don't know when this started since I only noticed it when adding a new computer a week ago.
Funny thing is that this also happens for local share access on the remote dc's too.
I even set up another server and tried to dcpromo it but get "access denied, can't contact the domain'
DCDiag, Netdiag and ADdiag are clean except for the odd FRS failure.
DNS seems OK.
Any idea's as to what would cause this and how to fix.
One other thing that might be relevant: I had to add on the sbs box a secondary DNS entry pointing at another DC for the infomation store to start automatically.Start Free Trial
