Browse All TopicsI know it is easy enough to map networked drives from each user on our SBS 2003 installation but is there a simple way of doing this via a script or similar on the server?
Basically we have a server with 2 disks with the second holding the data. On this I've set up shares for various users as necessary.
Any help much appreciated...

you want to choose Connect To
leave the drive letter as it is, usually Z:
then you should put the network accessible path of the shared folder you want to map, for example //server/d/employees
if you want each user to have his own folder you can put //server/d/%username%, a folder well be created for each user with his username
