SSL Certificate questions

Asked by ccsonline in SBS Small Business Server, Microsoft IIS Web Server, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) & HTTPS

Tags: Microsoft, Small Business Server, 2003 R2

SBS 2003 R2 behind a SonicWall TZ170.  The only site open from the outside without VPN is https://mail.domain.com/exchange to access OWA.  The server has a self signed cert issued to servername.domain.com.  So when I go to https://servername.domain.com/remote for RWW everything looks fine.  But when I go to OWA I get the lovely cert warning because the cert is issued to servername.domain.com not mail.domain.com.  Is there a solution so users will not be prompted with that warning, other than switching to a cert issued to mail.domain.com, because then they would be prompted with the warning if they went to RWW.  Hope this makes sense.  Thanks in advance for any guidance.Start Free Trial
