The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Error 1054 in the event log - Source:  Userenv

I am trying to troubleshoot this error for several weeks now to no avail.

this error is repeating itself every 5 min on my SBS2003 server.  

Here is the scenario:
I have 2 different locations: Seattle and Portland connected by a WAN-VPN link (not very fast)

Seattle:
SBS2003 Server

Portland:
Windows 2003 secondary domain Server
On the Portland server I am getting errors: 1058 and 1030 which I believe are caused by or a product of (i'm not sure which) the errors on the Seattle server.  (i have attached photos of these errors)


After reading multiple posts and trying several things I attempted a reg edit on the SBS server.  After doing this the error still appears but only every 2 hours or so.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System   "GroupPolicyMinTransferRate"=dword:00000000

I found this recommendation here:

I also found some suggestions on the same post to delete any network cards in the registry that did not exist.  I did have some that are in the registry and do not exist and deleted them as techsoeasy instructed, but upon a restart they came right back.

I'm not sure where I should go from here and I really need help.  Thanks in advance!
