cannot connect to companyweb on SBS 2003 R2

I just installed SBS 2003 R2 on a new server, completed the initial server installation task list, including the default exchange. However now when I open IE on the server it tries to open http://companyweb/default.aspx but that page cannot be found. The only thing I didn't choose the default for during SBS setup - as far as I am aware - where the file locations of exchange transaction and log files and users shared folder location.

If I start IE from the client computer I just added it's the same.
