Email dragged to Mailbox username then lost in system

Outlook running under sbs2003 exchange
Hi I had a customer that dragged a few emails into the Top folder in outlook ( mailbox- User) folder
from inbox the messages were moved from inbox but i can't seem to find were they have been move to
would like to be able to recouver them
