Repair Small Business Server

SOB STORY:
We installed a version of Symantec AV (Corporate edition 10.2), and the installation failed somehow 3/4 of the way through.

The result has been an absolute nightmare. WMI is throwing 8007005 (Win32 Access Denied) errors. It broke exchange, but I cannot uninstall Exchange to re-install it because the install must use WMI because there are components that won't uninstall because....you guessed it.... permission denied.

The exchange system attendant cannot read the state of services so I cannot rebuild OMA.

I decied that wiping the service and re-installing might be the easiest way to go, but after all those hours of work, I rejoined our CRM server to the domain and CRM won't start up because it references the user GUID's that are different upon a re-install, so I had to re-image back to the broken state.

QUESTION:
How do I repair the SBS server to fix all the crap that Symantec did to it? Or...How do I reinstall WMI so I can uninstall and reinstall everything on the server to get it back in good shape.

Oh....one more thing... I tried doing a Windows repair on the server, and phase one goes well. it sees the HD, and starts the reparin install; however, it completely hangs at 37 minutes left on "Installing Devices"

Help me before I throw myself out the window. <wimper>.Start Free Trial
