I have a network setup with a 2003 Small Business Server that is used for a file share and to control our domain. I currently have our mail hosted with an off site Exchange service. Up until about 4 hours ago, we were able to connect to the server with no problems. We then became unable to connect via Outlook or via Outlook Web Access. We are also unable to ping the host site at mail.hostedmsexchange.com.
I called support and we tested everything. It looks as though I have access to everything except the off-site Exchange Server. All computers including the SBS can not ping or connect to the server.
Is there something that I should check that may be dissallowing this connection? Something that may have changed when I rebooted the server? There was a KB update installed for Exchange junk mail filtering on the reboot. I removed this update but I'm still experiencing an issue.
Users have been able to connect to the off-site exchange server on different internet connections outside of our domain.
