Transferred profiles continue to repopulate to old location

I have transferred user's My Documents from the domain controller to another file server.  I have cleared offline files and made sure synchronizing was either turned off or unchecked for the previous location.  I have restarted many of these nodes multiple times without the Documents repopulating.  But, out of the blue the Documents will replicate back to their old location.  In some circumstances they will be on both servers, fully intact with all the folders and files.  In other circumstances only the domain controller location has the Documents.  The copied/transferred Documents on the file server are removed and repopulated back to their old location on the domain controller.  Now this does not happen for all users.  I have successfully transferred some user's My Documents without trouble.  What is going on?Start Free Trial
