SBS 2003 won't boot unless cd is in

I have a server with 4 sata drives installed with an Intel Xeon processor.  The server will boot to the Intel Xeon Server splash screen and then will flash gray and then return to black and stay there.  If I go into the bios and boot from the cd then SBS 2003 will load, but for some reason the initial splash screen says "Windows Server 2003" I don't know if that means anything.  I have tested the connections to the sata drives and they are all okay and work fine once I'm in.  I just can't logon unless I boot from the cd though.  I also tried to restore my system state, but ntbackup freezes everytime I'm in Directory Services mode.Start Free Trial
