Microsoft, SBS, 2003R2 SP1 and SP2 for WinServer2003, ISA2004SP3 deployed, indows Server Update Services Event ID 364 and 10032
Hi Guys, I have an SBS2003R2 server installation running Exchange, ISA2004, and WSUS 3 through the SBS Server Management Console. It is a 2 NIC installation with a DrayTek 2600 ADSL modem router. The installation has been operational for some years. This is a single server with 10 users.
On the 17July this year something went wrong with WSUS 3 and I am getting repeated EventID 10032 and 364 in the application log. Full text in SBSEvents.txt attached file.
Last week (IE after these events started occuring) I did some WSUS cleanup by running : c:\WsusCleanUp\WsusDebugTool.exe /Tool:PurgeUnneededFiles Followed by : C:\Program Files\Update Services\Tools\WusUtil Reset This to gain some space for the customer.
I have looked at EventID.net and checked that Update Services are running as the Local System account and also that the Network Service account has modify permissions from the root of the WSUS content directory.
No changes have been made to ISA2004 but if anyone can detail some specific checks to perform that would be usefull (reference WSUS not being allowed to initiate teh web request' as reported by one user under Event 10032 on EventID.net.
Synchronisations seem to complete OK according to the control panel, its just the resulting downloads that are failing.
Can anyone tell me whats going on here and offer some course of action.
