Hello huntersp3 - Yes, those links are very resourceful, as why I showed them as resources in my original post. However, they assume that an in use, and existing SBS exchange db, which is not the case in my situation. This is why is pose the following question : "I am trying to decide if I should first get Exch running on the SBS server, and then follow the steps in part 2 referenced below to transfer the mailboxes - OR - would it be better to remove the Exch components from the SBS server first, and then add the new server with Exch 2007 to the domain, transfer the FSMO roles to get Exch 2007 installed, then transfer the roles back (steps from below references, but in a different order)?"
Thoughts?
