Browse All TopicsI am getting an alert that the w3svc is stop pending several times a day. this started last week and I have remved and replaced the active sync, owa and several default web pages. I have several devices that are using active sync. i have seen several warnings with "A process serving application pool 'ExchangeApplicationPool' exceeded time limits during shut down. The process id was '7036'.
the process ID changes with each instance.
I also see an pop3 application error Error 0x7da occurred while rendering message 0001-000006705749 for download for user user@domain.com.
I have checked the message trackng tool and cannot find the message number. that user uses a moto Q with active sync so does not use pop3.

I appears that an update
Update for Intelligent Message Filter for Exchange Server 2003: 2008.08.01 (KB907747)
is being installed over and over. I have to figure out how to keep that from happening.
