WWAN Failover Using SonicWal TZ190

Asked by billrush2 in SBS Small Business Server, DSL Lines / Cable Internet

I am running a SBS2003 server and domain with a SonicWall TZ190 Router/Firewall with WWAN failover.  The WWAN is using a Sprint EVDO (Sierra 595) PCMCIA card.  I want to have WAN redundancy usingthe SonicWall router so that when my Verizon DSL goes out, my domain will still have internet service.

The TZ190 is failing over just fine - no problem there.  My issue is that eventhough the SW fails over properly, I lose internet on the server and workstations when the WWAN connection is active.  If I configure the workstation's DNS manually, I get internet service.  When I use auto assign, I get no internet.

I have tried specifying various DNS IP's (Verizon, Sprint, Open DNS) without success.  Something is preventing the SBS from handling DNS correctly and I am out of ideas.
