I have exactly the same issue, I am trying to join SBS to our existing domain. &nbsp;I can ping our master server by ip and dns name, I have cleared the security logs, dns settings are pointing to the correct DC.<br />

I have implemented the virtual memory recomendation i found online.<br />
<br />
The SBS server has 8 Gigs of ram and is fresh with no demanding apps or roles.<br />
<br />
I cannot find the &quot;continue setup wizard&quot; on the 2008 SBS machine on the desktop or i programs and features.<br />
<br />
Any inkling<br />

All the initial steps that DCpromo asks for is fine we unchecked the DNS server option and hit next to continue. After 10 - 15 seconds we get an error stating &quot;&nbsp;Active Directory Domain Service could not install.
