Sometimes services actually fail to start the first time they attempt to be started, but actually start again later and thus there is no problem.
If after a reboot you have services that are set to Automatic and they don't start, then these are the ones you need to troubleshoot and the errors relating to these in the event logs will guide you.
If you have a problem with a service, look at the event log and post here again if you need guidance.
