We are running Windows SBS 2008. the SharePoint web site worked before. Not sure what has been changed. I can't logon it anymore. Here are what I have tried.
1. In the SBS, whenever I try http://compantweb or https://localhost:987, the logon screen pop up.
2. I have tried username, domainname\username, EMAIL REMOVED.
3. I have tried different username.
4. After 3 tries, the web page turn to blank.
5. No errors in the Event Viewer.

Have you added every possible iteration of it to trusted sites? As in http://companyweb as well as https://companyweb and then the http://server:987 etc etc.
Can the site be accessed by other users on your network? What about accessing it via Remote Web Workplace?

Add the sharepoint site URL http://companyweb to the trusted sites section of Internet Explorer - that should do the trick!
