Asked by swilsonaztech in SBS Small Business Server, Windows XP Operating System
I have a customer who is running SBS 2003 with approx. 13 client computers running XP Pro SP3. Every day between 6PM and 6:20 PM the clients lose connectivity to the server and to their POS database application. They have to reboot the computers and then it works fine but as this is a retail environment and we are getting closer to holiday shopping, this will be something they cannot have keep happening while in the midst of the hopeful Christmas rush. Switches are 100MB across the board and the server has a Gigabit NIC but is connecting at 100MB. Doesn't seem to be a switch issue as it is happening to all clients. Could be a DNS refresh issue or authentication not sure. The client machines are showing errors about Kerberos not authenticating but not everytime that there is a drop in the connections.
Help!!!! Thanks in advance.
