TechSoEasy alluded to Outlook 2007 configuring itself for Folder Redirection... indicating that the user's email wil be available when logging into varius machines. How do I make this happen. After setting up Folder Redirection successfully, the Outlook email is not available when logging into different systems.

TechSoEasy (in a different Post) commented that you don't need to setup roaming profiles if all the user needs is documents, favorites and email. I am trying to understand how Outlook 2007 gets the .PST file onto the server without a roaming profile. I suppose I could put each user's .PST file in a folder under My Documents.
This needs clarification.
Folder Redirection has nothing to do with Outlook. It is only for My Documents.
You should NOT be using a .pst file with SBS 2008's Exchange 2007 + Outlook 2007.
Do not try to roam with .pst files, you will only cause yourself many headaches.
If you want user email to be available at various machines, you need to be using Outlook with Exchange Cached Mode that would store mail in .ost files instead of .pst files. This configuration is automatic if you join the workstations to the domain properly with http://connect and you are using Exchange for your email server.

Thank you very much TechSoEasy for this clarification. I have already started experiencing problems with .PST files with SBS 2008. I will fire up the Exchange 2007 and convert to .OSTs. as you suggest. I have already joined the workstations to the domain. I am hoping that setting up the Outlook with Exchange Cached Mode will implement the needed change.

If you use roaming profiles then PST files are included in the profile and will be redirected with the remainder of the profile. Of course the data in Exchnage will be available from any machine wether roaming profiles are being used or not
