Journal Wrap Error on SBS 2008

Our client has a single server SBS 2008 domain. Their server was getting the Event ID 13568 JRNL_WRAP_ERROR so we follwed Microsoft's recommendation on Auto Restore. We got all the correct posts in the event ID like 13560 "FRS is deleting this computer from the replica set" and 13520 "FRS moved the preexisting files....and also 13553 "FRS successfully added computer to replica set. However, once all that was done, we noticed that the sysvol and netlogon shares were no longer visible. When we inspected the share, all it had was the "NTFRS_Preexisting" folder which contained the original contents of our sysvol directory. We therefore restored this data to sysvol and restarted the ntfrs service again. Now we get a warning stating that FRS is scanning the data in the systemvolume and that the server can't become a domain controller until the scan completes. There has been no change in the last hour so I'm pretty sure there is an issue here. What do we need to do next? This isn't the first time we've had issues with Microsoft's JRNL WRAP fix.
