NTDLL.DLL Crash Win 2008R2 Terminalserver using Teamviewer

Dear all,

we installed the teamviewer service version 8 on a Windows 2008 R2 terminal server. It sometimes suddenly stop to work. The eventviewer tells me, that the NTDLL.DLL is the reason. A service employee of the teamviewer company told me that I can try to change the ntdll.dll. I got the dll from the product CD but it is not simply possible to change the dll.

How to change this running system dll on the server?

Thanks in advance

Andreas

I did not know the tool. Thanks for that info, but it did not show me an error. So it did not work.

Is there another way to change the file? We have the product cd, but we can not change the file.
Hi
Did you try Step 2? To Reregister ntdll.dll ?

Note I will be away after one week.

@hopeleonie
I am having similar issues with another application crashing and error saying the faulting module is ntdll.dll

I tried the sfc scan. That found errors but the issue is still happening.
I tried running the command to register ntdll.dll but i go this error:

The module 'ntdll.dll' was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer not found.
Make sure that 'ntdll.dll' is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again.

Any thoughts?
