MyDocuments Folder Redirection not worked on SBS2003

provides a useful article on the SBS2003 Configure MyDocuments Redirection wizard.
It says "Microsoft® Windows® Small Business Server 2003 enables you to redirect (to a single shared folder on your network) the My Documents folders of all client computers on your network that are running Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Professional. You can redirect them to the default Users shared folder on the server or any shared folder on your network."
But frustratingly it doesn't explain what the 'default Users shared folder on the server' is or where you specify it. I'm guessing it might be the folder specified in the Local Path box in the Home Folder section of the Profile tab in AD Users, but that's just a guess.
However despite specifying the required folder in there and running the Folder Redireciton wizard via the 'Backup/Configure MyDocuments Redirection' function in Server Management (this process completed successfully), on right-clicking each user's MyDocuments folder, the Target path is still pointing to its old location (a path on a now-redundant server) and won't allow me to change it. I thought that's what the Folder Redirection process was meant to fix, but it hasn't! Surely there must be some hack to change where the MyDocuments folders are pointing to?
I found a possible registry hack
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
but the path in ValueData there is empty (odd, as I expected it to contain the path you see when you right-click MyDocuments) and force-changing it to my desired path did not work.
I found a piece in MS kb/221837 saying "an administrator can use folder redirection in a group policy to modify the location of My Documents to reside on a network share", but any time I've ever gone into GroupPolicy editors, I always get completely stumped as to where to go and what to change. If it would work though then willing to go in there & try it!
