Try and start the dependencies of each service until you find the service which is failing to start.

Post the last few errors of your Applications and System Event logs.

A reboot and disk space are valid troubleshooting points.

The attached screen shots displays the services restarting. Have you viewed all the attachments?


The Windows Server Service Provider Registry service terminated unexpectedly.  It has done this 16 time(s).

Start / Right click on Computer / Manage / Server Manager (make sure server name is here).

FYI I've never seen this SBS Console before it appears to me Dell has their hands on something here especially since they branded their name on it. If you have a support agreement with them I would demand they try to resolve since they altered the SBS Console.

I'll continue to troubleshoot with you because I'm eager myself to assist and learn what is happening but I also know Dell's involvement can create problems all in itself.

I also can't find any of the services on any of the SBS 2011 servers I manage making me wonder if it's a Dell thing. I find the services but there not named the same as yours.

And as we all know SBS loves wizards and does not like allot of deviations, how long has this server been in production or is it just coming out of being built up. If just built up did you run all the wizards?

Last does running 'Fix My Network' give any indication what the problem is.

If it's a permissions issue which starts with the accounts in Active Directory I've used this article (click here) and it's worked fine.

Whoa, we're going way off base here. I appreciate the help I can tell we're no where I need to be. I'm just going to restore from a backup. I'm too busy with other stuff.

so no knowledge towards fixing errors? Good luck if you think problems won't come about again you're going to be very disappointed.

Make sure you have a great backup, at this rate you'll be as good as...well your last backup.

Oh...and backups fail sometimes too...good luck sorry we didn't spoon feed you enough.

It's time management. There's been a dozen comments here and not single one is going anywhere near the direction where my dashboard issue could be. I'm not working on some home machine. I need to get the server back to where is was with the least amount of energy. Looks to be a restore. Even an upgrade to Windows 2008 R2 would be easier than the back and forth here. Sorry.

I've seen your screen shots.  You need to determine which of the services is causing the others to stop.  Check each services dependencies and check to see if they are started.  Do this for every dependency.  

Good luck with your restore if you decide to go down that route.
