Hi Guys<br />

We are having problems migrating public folder from exchange 2003 to exchange 2010.<br />
I hope someone here has more experience and knowledge in assisting us with this. We've tried to replicate but not really helping, nothing is moved across and we've waited for a week.<br />
<br />
We've already moved all our mailboxes across during the SBS migration, and still waiting on PF to come across.<br />
<br />
We've tried the following:<br />
1. Replicate all replicas from SBS2003<br />
2. Scripts from SBS2011<br />
3. Reconfigure Smarhost on SBS2003<br />
4. Patched servers<br />
<br />
There's probably something we've missed but not too 100% sure. Any advise would be great.<br />

Migrate Public Folder SBS2003 to SBS2011

Small Business Server (SBS) is a line of server operating systems targeted at small businesses by bundling the operating system with a number of other Microsoft products that would normally need to be purchased or licensed separately. The most notable inclusions are Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint and ISA/TMG (Microsoft's firewall and proxy server).

Exchange is the server side of a collaborative application product that is part of the Microsoft Server infrastructure. Exchange's major features include email, calendaring, contacts and tasks, support for mobile and web-based access to information, and support for data storage.

Exchange

Within Internet message handling services (MHS), a message transfer agent or mail transfer agent (MTA) or mail relay is software that transfers electronic mail messages from one computer to another using a client–server application architecture. A MTA implements both the client (sending) and server (receiving) portions of the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). The terms mail server, mail exchanger, and MX host may also refer to a computer performing the MTA function. The Domain Name System (DNS) associates a mail server to a domain with mail exchanger (MX) resource records containing the domain name of a host providing MTA services.
